KOPN radio

Today we visited an independent radio station, or rather community radio. It was cool that we gotta go on air and stuff but i reallie wasn't too fazed by that. Well after all i DID talk for entire hours on radio fusion AT the school canteen DURING lunch hour, and I DJ-ed the thing too...so er...yah a couple of announcements don't like get me jumping over the moon. Hmmm...but probably it was fun for 1st timers. Somehow radio isn't reallie my thing.

But the station is like so good ole down-to-earth small-time volunteer based that i guess it was fun to haf a look. They've got all these vinyl records and shelves of CDs that they play individually so it's like...okie...this is reallie old fashion. And people pay to support the radio. Can you believe, it;s like where got people pay to listen to free-to-air radio in Singapore one. I think maybe the stations pay you to listen more like man. And KOPN runs 24/7. Guess how much work that is. Well i guess that gives everyone in town pretty much an equal chance to get heard!. Haw haw.

Oh and they don't do advertisements, they kind of 'promote' businesses on a 'giving information' basis. So no fancy jingles and stuff. and lots of announcements. did i say i'm not a radio person. haha.

I'm starting internship next week and i'm so not ready. Shit
